Service was perfect. Ski’s were waiting for us when we came in. As we were staying in the same accommodation as the shop we received the extra discount for the location even though we made our reservation through the website. So much better than the large shops in town.

The people in the shop were very friendly and the bikes were great for the gravelroad. The only thing that was a bit tricky was the range of the battery. When in tour or e mbt setting the range uphill was not that great. Whitin 15 minutes uphill the range went from 45 km to 15km. So we couldn’t make the route the Kappl app advised us.

The shop didn’t have the ski that I wanted despite I’ve shared my height, weight and preference of skis information on the reservation. You’d expect such info provided in advance would be sufficient to secure the availability of the rentals for the dates reserved. The staff are friendly and helpful though.

I always have doubts whether paying for Superior/Premium/Economy makes any difference in terms of the ski's you get. It seems they just take a pair by length. I think it would be nice for customers if that difference is made more clear in the shop, if it exists at all.

When does the bike season start?
We’re open Mon–Sat from June 9, 2026. Before that, we’re in winter mode — for bike enquiries, please call or email.

What is included in the rental price?
The bike in the chosen category, set up for you. Helmet from € 6/day separate; child seat, carrier, trailer and hiking poles also bookable as accessories (see rates).

Which bike for which skill level?
Tour and family ride: E-Bike City or E-Bike hardtail. Trail and longer rides: E-Bike Fully (full-suspension) or classic mountain bike. For kids we have the E-Bike Junior 24". At the Dorfzentrum location we’ll match bike, route and skill in person.

How far can I ride on an E-MTB?
Depends heavily on route, mode and weight. At touring pace (E-Bike Fully in Tour mode) 60–80 km with 1,500 m of climbing is realistic — pure climbing in Sport mode cuts range significantly. We’ll give you an honest estimate before you head out.

What about bad weather?
Free cancellation up to 24 h before pickup — including for weather. If rain catches you mid-rental: get in touch, we’ll find a solution.

Which brands do you have in the rental fleet?
Our rental fleet runs on Scott (high-end MTB and e-MTB) and Genesis (entry-level & urban). All bikes are current-season models, checked before every handover. Conway and KTM are added on the retail side.

Are there child sizes?
Yes: E-Bike Junior 24" for kids from about age 8. Younger kids ride along via child seat, carrier or trailer (see accessories).
